Community leaders fly before open house
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. -- Earl Anderton, Cloudcroft civil leader, helps Ronny Rardin, Otero County commissioner, maneuver his way into the rear of a B-25 Mitchell Bomber during a flight here Oct. 23. Six local community leaders were on board the flight the day before the open house at Holloman Air Force Base and were able to move around the aircraft to check it out. The aircraft, known as the Pacific Prowler, has a rich history dating back to 1944 when in was first built. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Sondra Escutia)
