Holloman, Australians observe Anzac Day
Members of the Royal Australian Air Force salute during Reveille at the Anzac commemorative service April 25, 2015 at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. During the ceremony, attendants honor and remember the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps [Anzac] who fought during World War I, specifically the battle at Gallipoli. Although that battle was a loss for the Anzac, Australians recognize the courage, mateship and honor of the 8,000 men who made the ultimate sacrifice.
