Refueling the mission
An F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 311th Fighter Squadron receives fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., during a training exercise Dec. 7, 2017, over the skies of New Mexico. The KC-135 has provided crucial refueling capability for the Air Force for more than 50 years, making it an invaluable tool to maintain air superiority.
