Hello Team Holloman!  I am Chief Master Sgt. Scott Loescher, your new command chief for Team Holloman and the Fighting 49er's!

I am honored and humbled to be here at Holloman as your new command chief.  I am humbled that Col. Kiebler has asked me to be the 49th Wing's next Command Chief, and I am excited for the opportunity to help our Airmen grow into our future leaders.

While I am here, I aim to empower Airmen to make the right decisions, do the right things, and take ownership in the Wing.  As the Air Force gets smaller, it is imperative that our Airmen be creative and innovative while building upon our culture of excellence and integrity.  As we are asked to do more every day, our Airmen must take ownership of their mission areas to find smarter, more efficient ways to not only meet the mission, but also improve our procedures and processes.  Team Holloman has a proud tradition of leading the way in new systems and Aircraft that protect our nation.  I want to continue that tradition and help lead Team Holloman into the future of the RPA enterprise.

A little bit about me now.  I entered the Air Force in 1988 as a Tactical Air Command and Control Specialist and have spent my career delivering close-air-support for ground troops in harm's way. Along the way I have deployed to operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Deny Flight, Iraqi Freedom, New Dawn, and Enduring Freedom.  I enjoy spending my off duty time outdoors doing anything that involves not being behind a desk!

My leadership philosophy is based on servant leadership.  Simply put, my leadership philosophy is to have the courage, confidence, and commitment to connect with, and inspire Airmen to achieve extraordinary results.   My priorities are to continually develop our Airmen through consistent mentoring and strong leadership.  My second priority is to build a can-do attitude within the wing.
Ultimately, a can-do, get it done attitude from our Airmen will ensure we are ready to deploy combat ready airpower, anywhere in the world, at a moment's notice.

Finally, we must take care of our Airmen and their families.  Although I mention this as my last priority, it is actually at the top of the list for me.  Our supervisors across the wing must be engaged with their people at all levels to ensure we are taking care of our Airmen and their families. Without the support and understanding of our families, we cannot deliver on our promise to deliver global air supremacy for the U.S. and our allies

Again, I am excited and honored to get started here with Team Holloman and the Fighting 49er's!
