HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Holloman's Steel Talons Honor Guard was created to honor fallen members of the armed services, both past and present. The honor guard practices its duties daily, from flag dressing and folding to firing of a rifle. It performs at several hundred civilian and military ceremonies each year. The honor guard members help to preserve the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard’s heritage by learning about honor guard history and traditions.
