Chief’s Choice Award February 2019

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. --  Holloman’s Chiefs Group has a monthly recognition program titled Chief’s Choice Award. Every month, a chief has the honor of choosing a deserving Airman for an outstanding act or for continuous outstanding performance.
For the month of February, the chiefs are proud to present the Chief’s Choice Award to Airman 1st Class Gloria Miller, 49th Medical Support Squadron outpatient records technician.
Chief Master Sgt. Rhonda L. Riggins, 49th Medical Group superintendent selected Miller for her contributions to the mission here.
“Miller is an amazing Airman who embodies the Air Force Core Values,” said Riggins. “She expertly performed quality reviews and dispatched essential medical records for out-processing military families. Her attention to detail ensured there were no delays in continuity of care for over 340 beneficiaries. Miller consistently steps up to ensure the patients’ needs are met through the delivery of trusted care while ensuring the mission of the 49th Wing.”
Q. 1 What are your duties?
A. 1 My duties include assisting patients, faxing and mailing records, annual active duty inventory and scanning records into an electronic health record.
Q. 2 How long have you been in the Air Force and at Holloman?
A. 2 I have been both in the Air Force and at Holloman for one year.
Q. 3 Where is your hometown?
A. 3 My hometown is Killeen, Texas.
Q. 4 What is your personal motto?
A. 4 Be kind and stay humble.
Q. 5 Name two of your long-term goals.
A. 5 Two of my goals are to obtain a Bachelor’s degree and to start a business.
Q. 6 What are your off-duty interests and hobbies?
A. 6 I enjoy arts and crafts and video games.
