HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. --

Congressional staffers visited Holloman Air Force Base to learn more about the 49th Wing and its mission partners, October 2, 2019. 

 

The 49th Wing’s 9th and 29th Attack Squadrons, 8th Fighter Squadron and 704th Test Group came together and showcased their missions with a tour of facilities and interviews with Airmen.

 

The staffers represent Congresswoman Deb Haaland, Congresswoman Xochitl Torres Small, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar and Senator Martin Heinrich.

 

During the tour staffers had the opportunity to view and sit in an MQ-9 Reaper cockpit, view a static displays of an F-16 Viper and MQ-9 Reaper, tour the 8th FS and Aircrew Flight Equipment shop, and finally, visit the 704th TG test track.
