Do not respond to this type of email and do not provide Personally Identifiable Information (PII). PII is information that can be used to uniquely identify, contact, or locate a single person or can be used with other sources to uniquely identify a single individual. Phishing is typically carried out by e-mail spoofing and it often directs users to enter details at a fake website or respond to an email address with PII. All automated assignment notification, modification and cancellation emails should be validated upon receipt through the vMPF or by contacting the Total Force Service Center.
