Airmen from the 49th Medical Group will be distributing flu vaccinations at the medical treatment facility (clinic), Building 15, Oct. 9 and 10. The hours on are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 9 and 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 10.

All active-duty and activated Reserve Airmen are required to get the nasal spray flu vaccine or flu shot within this period, if they have not already been immunized.

No one needs to make an appointment; immunizations will be done on a walk-in basis. Airmen will need to be in uniform, have their identification cards, and bring a completed flu questionnaire when arriving at the MTF. Airmen should enter the MTF through the North-East entrance (Operational Medicine). There is parking space available along that side of the building and additional parking behind the building as well.

Lab personnel will also be able to administer overdue blood tests and other vaccines as needed.

Retirees and dependents will be able to get their flu vaccinations at the immunization clinic beginning Oct. 15 or immediately at any TRICARE accepting facilities off base.
