The Airman's Attic at Holloman AFB, N.M. is a source of valuable assets for everyday life, free of charge to any E-5 or below.

"(We have) clothing from babies to adults, child care products, toys and books including bicycles, household items including kitchen equipment, grills, linens and large furniture items, box springs and mattresses, electronics, dvds and vhs tapes, and jewelry. Everything here is 100 percent free. It's all donations, so we just turn around and give it to people who need it." said Jessica Miller, the Airman's Attic manager.

In addition, large quantities of military uniforms are available for active duty military personnel. However, there is a limited quantity of items that are allowed to be taken per week.

These supplies are continually donated from members of the Holloman community. They come from all facets of military life.

"We get donations every day, all hours of the day. We are constantly getting donations. Anywhere from one to two bags, or during PCS season it could be someone's entire house," said Miller.

With so many donations coming in on a normal basis, the attic can satisfy any household or Airman needs.

Volunteers are highly encouraged to help out and are welcomed at any time the attic is open.

The Airman's Attic is located at building 788 right next to the Airman Family and Readiness Center. Store hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information on volunteer opportunities contact your first sergeant or visit the Airman's Attic web page at facebook.com/groups/airmansatticholloman.
