49th MDG providing flu vaccinations Published Oct. 7, 2011 By Senior Airman Veronica Stamps 49th Wing Public Affairs HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airmen from the 49th Medical Group will be distributing flu vaccinations at the Community Activities Center, Building 325, from 9 a.m. Oct.18 through 2 p.m. Oct 19. All Active Duty and Reserve Airmen, including Active Duty German Air Force, are required to get the nasal spray flu vaccine or flu shot within the 29-hour period. There is no appointment needed, however, Airmen should fill out a flu questionnaire before arriving at the CAC and bring their identification card. Lab personnel will also be able to administer overdue blood tests and vaccines as needed. Retirees and dependents will be able to get their flu vaccinations on Oct. 20 at the immunization clinic or any TRICARE accepting facilities off base.
