"The 49th Wing Public Affairs Office is a world class organization," said Col. David Krumm, 49th Wing commander. "They continue to set the bar for others to follow in ACC and the Air Force."

Journalism, broadcasting and photography entries were judged on technical quality and value to Air Force internal communications programs. The first place winners from ACC have been sent forward to compete in the Air Force Media Contest.

The Air Force Media Contest is an annual event sponsored by the Secretary of the Air Force Office of Public Affairs and is conducted by Headquarters Air Force Public Affairs Agency. The 2010 awards were the 55th year of the competition.
