William Keichel, 781 Test Squadron, stacks trays filled with a dozen cookies during the Cookie Drive held at the base commissary here, Dec. 14. After wrapping the cookie trays, first sergeants from each squadron helped deliver them to Airmen. Leftover cookies went to the base chapel to continue the giving of cookies. HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The Holloman Officers' Spouses Club held a cookie drive at the base commissary here, Dec. 14, where they and other volunteers baked over 900 dozen cookies for Airmen.

The HOSC collected all shapes and sizes of cookies and distributed them with the help of military members and the Alamogordo community.

The tradition of the cookie drive is an opportunity to give Airmen, who may be spending their first holiday without their families, a taste of home.

The HOSC would like to thank the base commissary manager, Mike Bathgate, and employee, Saul Valverde, and everyone who volunteered their time to bake cookies.
