Maintainers recognized for excellence

The 49th Maintenance Group commander at Holloman Air Force Base recently announced the award winners of the 49th Maintenance Group Quality Assurance Honor Roll recipients for the fourth quarter of 2008. 

The QA Honor Roll Program is used to recognize individuals that have maintained error free pass rates for the quarter. Individuals who have at least seven passing inspections as well as no safety or technical violations are placed on the honor roll. The individuals will be recognized by Col. George Torres Jr., 49 MXG commander, at a 49 MXG meeting later this month. 

"In a group of outstanding maintainers that I have the privilege of working with, these personnel represent the 'Best of the Best'," said Colonel Torres. "They set the high standards we all strive to meet and I am extremely proud of their accomplishment." 

The following individuals assigned to the 49th Maintenance Squadron received a 100 percent pass rate: Staff Sgt. Robert Egan, aircraft ground equipment; Staff Sgt. James Warren, propulsion; Senior Airman Michael Hernandez, aircraft ground equipment; Senior Airman Carlos Fernandez-Martinez, propulsion; and Airman 1st Class Brittany Lenhart, propulsion. 

The following individuals assigned to the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a 100 percent pass rate: Staff Sgt. Sara Rosner, crew chief; Staff Sgt. Christopher Eckhardt, crew chief; Staff Sgt. Nichols Gasek, specialist; Airman 1st Class Brian McMahan, crew chief; Airman 1st Class Brad Prohaska, crew chief; A1C Mitchell Ensminger, crew chief; and Airman 1st Class Samuel Beety, crew chief.
