Thanks to the ingenuity of two Team Holloman members, enlisted and officer performance reports will now be tracked electronically.

The new web based application will provide a paperless and instant transport of all report documents from their creation to completion.

"The E-routing program sets a new standard for Air Force virtual programs," said Capt. John Ball, 49th Mission Support Squadron commander. "I just hope the Air Force adopts it as is."

According to co-creator and network administrator, Tech. Sgt. James Delgado, 49MSS, the system will bring the total number of steps for filing from 68 to 28, thereby conserving manpower, effort and time.

"When the Military Personnel Flight obtains the Routing Information Protocol, they load the report into the system and notifications are sent to the proper personnel," he said. "They write and route the reports through their chains and finish by finalizing the report back to the MPF. When the MPF decides the report is good and ready to close, they will download the report and send it to Air Force Personnel Center via Automated Record Management System. Then, they will close the report in E-Routing.

"Due to Electronic Records Management (ERM) requirements, the report "file" itself will then be deleted from the system but all the tracking details will be available to the routing chain for that report indefinitely. Every user that is in the reporting chain has visibility on the report at every stage of its lifecycle."

With less time, energy and manpower being spent on OPR/EPRs now, Team Holloman members now have more time to spend accomplishing the mission.
