Weather advisory for holiday weekend

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Holloman Air Force Base is expecting inclement weather beginning Saturday, Dec. 26, to Sunday, Dec. 27. The 49th Operations Support Squadron weather flight has forecasted a chance of snow up to one inch in the lowlands and six inches or more in the nearby mountains.

For Team Holloman members traveling out of the local area over the holiday weekend, ensure you check the weather forecast regularly, and build in additional travel time where appropriate. Snow and ice will be present on the roads and in the Holloman AFB area.

If you experience any travel delays due to weather, ensure you contact your chain of command immediately.

When driving in inclement weather please remember to slow down, and drive carefully.
