Colonel Dennis P. Tucker Jr., 372nd Recruiting Group commander, Lt. Col. Lewis B. Harper Jr., 367th Recruiting Squadron commander, and members from the 367th RS cut the ribbon to the new recruiting center in El Paso, Texas, June 23, 2015. This grand opening was part of the Air Force’s effort to downsize the recruiting offices from over 1,100 to about 300. “The Air Force is combining recruiting offices within each squadron into one,” said Staff Sgt. Maura Sturgeon, recruiter with the 367th Recruiting Squadron. “This will eliminate the one-man offices, which will provide a better experience for the applicant. It will be easier for them [the applicant] to get ahold of a recruiter and it will also help us better do our job.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Emily A. Kenney/Released)
