QF-16 Draft Environmental Assessment available for review Published Sept. 15, 2014 AFCEC HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, NEW MEXICO -- A Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and proposed Finding of No Significant Impact was released early this week for public review. The Draft EA, prepared in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS), analyzes the environmental impacts of replacing QF-4 Full Scale Aerial Targets (FSATs) currently in use with QF-16 FSATs. The Draft EA is posted at http://www.holloman.af.mil/environmentalinformation.asp. The USAF would like to hear from interested members of the public regarding this proposal and its impacts on the environment through October 7, 2014. The EA can also be viewed at libraries in the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library (Las Cruces NM), El Paso (TX) Public Library, and the Alamogordo (NM) Public Library.
