WinnCompanies offers eligible Soaring Heights residents scholarship funds Published March 28, 2014 By 49th Wing Public Affairs HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Property management and maintenance service provider WinnCompanies is offering scholarship opportunities to eligible Soaring Heights residents at Holloman Air Force Base. WinnCompanies, which is celebrating 40 years of business, is offering scholarship grants to graduating seniors, high school graduates and GED graduates who are interested in pursuing higher education in community college, college, university or trade/professional school. Eligible students include those planning on beginning postsecondary education in the 2014-2015 school year, and students currently enrolled in a form of postsecondary education. Additionally, eligible students must reside in the Soaring Heights community at Holloman Air Force Base. "Our residents deserve the very best, and we're thrilled Winn has taken the initiative to provide this opportunity," said Jerry Schmitz, Lend Lease Project Director for Soaring Heights. "We have such strong, admirable families in our communities, and we know all of the eligible residents will go on to do great things with these resources." All completed applications must be submitted to the Soaring Heights Community Center office by April 2, 2014.
