NEWS RELEASE: Team Holloman mourns airman's death

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. --  Chief Master Sgt. David Wood, assigned to the 44th Maintenance Squadron, at Holloman AFB, passed away Jan. 24, at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.

"Holloman is deeply saddened by this loss. Chief Wood was a long-time member of Team Holloman and will be dearly missed," said Col. Andrew Croft, 49th Wing Commander. "Please keep the members of Team Holloman and especially the 44th Fighter Group in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn this tragedy."

The 44th Fighter Group is a reserve unit assigned to Holloman AFB.
