David Cook performs for Team Holloman

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. --  David Cook, the American Idol Season Seven winner, held a concert at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. on Sept. 11, 2016.

The event, hosted by the 49th Force Support Squadron, was the tenth stop on his 16-city tour. The concert was free for Airmen and their families to enjoy the sights and sounds of Cook’s crossover music appeal.

Cook, who has a cousin in the U.S. Air Force, has performed for U.S. military personnel in Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the Persian Gulf and across Europe.

The Nashville, Tennessee-based singer/songwriter held his first concert was May 12 at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, and the tour ends Sept. 25 at Columbus AFB, Mississippi.
