Throughout the week, Holloman Fire Emergency Services held fire drills and several base appearances to raise awareness about fire prevention. Holloman participates in National Fire Prevention Week

Sparky the Fire Dog was created for the National Fire Prevention Association in 1951, and has been the organization’s official mascot ever since.
