Sergeant Means and his team, Meansteam, used their expertise to tear down and rebuild a new roof at Father James B. Hay Catholic Pre-school. The Big Give is an annual project that encourages Team Holloman to work together to help the local community. ALAMOGORDO, N.M. -- Staff Sgt. Mike Sale, 49th Civil Engineer Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, helps secure sheet metal for a roofing at the Father James B. Hay Catholic Pre-school July 24, 2010. The 49th CES members offered their carpentry experience to tear down and rebuild a new roof for the pre-school as one of their projects for Holloman's Big Give Project. The Big Give is an annual project that encourages Team Holloman to work together in the local community. Holloman's Big Give Project underway
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. -- Members from the 49th Civil Engineer Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base work together to install a new roof at the Father B. Hay Catholic Pre-school as part of the Holloman Big Give Project July 24, 2010. This Big Give team, called Meansteam, plans to help rebuild the Veterans of Foreign War administration building after completing the roof project as part of their participation of Holloman's annual Big Give. The Big Give is a project headed by the 49th Force Support Squadron Marketing Office where teams compete in an effort to give back to the local community. Team Holloman is "Giving Big"
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. -- Carel Hardin, the spouse of a military retiree from Holloman Air Force Base, prepares burgers to serve at the St. John's Soup Kitchen as part of a Big Give project July 27, 2010. Ms. Hardin is a member of the Big Give team, HUG, which is made up of military spouses who have been doing small projects in the community, and the team ultimately hopes to raise enough money to buy a new roof for St. John's Episcopal Church. Team Holloman participates in Half Marathon

MARE to prepare
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The patient administration treatment team from the 49th Medical Group completed triage tags for simulated victims that played in the Major Accident Response Exercise July 15, 2010. The triage consisted of four categories: delayed, moderate, immediate and deceased. The medics filled out the tags based simulated patient signs and symptoms to figure out which victims needed the most immediate medical attention.
