Smile! Dental professional's week is March 7 - 12
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Senior Airman Carlynn Caraang, a dental technician with the 49th Medical Group Dental Clinic, is trained by Staff Sgt. Tomeka Jones, a hygienist also with the clinic, on a false set of teeth. Good oral health and hygiene are important components of physical fitness and combat readiness. Smile! Dental professional's week is March 7 - 12
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. – Capt. (Dr.) Rebecca Brinks, a dentist with the 49th Medical Group Dental Clinic, and Senior Airman Sarah Swaim, a dental technician also with the dental clinic, give an anesthetic to a patient prior to filling a cavity during an annual dental visit. Annual dental exams are performed to ensure military members have healthy mouths to ensure they are operationally ready and to prevent diseases such as gingivitis, periodontis and cavities. HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Benjamin Brady, 49th Civil Engineer Squadron, cuts a tile by hand to install around a drain at the 746th Test Squadron facility Feb. 18, 2011. This repair is one of many after a record breaking February snow storm. During the storm, the 49th CES was in-place and ready to go in case the base suffered a mass power-outage. HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Tyler Huisken, 49th Civil Engineer Squadron, uses a floor roller to level the newly-installed tiles at the 746th Test Squadron facility Feb. 18, 2011. Members of the 49th CES responded to and repaired more than $3 million in damages caused by a record-breaking February snow storm. Because of all the water breaks, water usage on base soared. Team Holloman is "ALL IN"
