Staff members of the Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Youth and Teen Center man different carnival-style game booths for the Freedom Fest Independence Day celebration at the Domenici Fitness and Sports Center parking lot July 3. In addition to events like the Freedom Fest, the Youth and Teen Center also takes part in and hosts different camps, ranging from music, digital arts, physical fitness, and sewing. Children from the Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Youth and Teen Center make salads during an ‘Iron Chef’ cooking competition September 12. The Youth and Teen Center also offers its members an art club, photography club, digital arts club, a friendship and confidence club, and a character and leadership club. Holloman AFB First Sergeant's Council Diamond Tree 2012
Senior Master Sgt. Juanita Thomas and Master Sgt. Douglas Vines, both members of the Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., First Sergeant’s Council, hang Diamond Tree ornaments Nov. 21 at The Exchange. The Diamond Tree, sponsored by the Holloman AFB First Sergeant’s Council, contains more than100 ornaments that provide the name of a child, clothing size, and gift idea for those who would like to help children of military families who are struggling financially. Holloman AFB Sports Day 2012
Team Holloman members race toward the finish line during a two-mile fun run during the Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Sports Day Nov. 16. As an added incentive to the last sporting event of the day, Team Holloman members were offered a one-day pass if they could beat the 49th Wing vice commander, Col. Ken Ekman, and a free beverage if they crossed the finish line before the 49th Wing commander, Col. Andrew Croft. Holloman phase one deployment exercise
