CDC Groundbreaking
49th Mission Support Group leaders prepare to remove the first shovels of soil from the site that will become the new Child Development Center in a groundbreaking ceremony at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. March 5. The $11 million project is a collaboration between the 49th MSG and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and is scheduled to be completed by May 2014. The new CDC will have 15 classrooms to accommodate up to 200 children of Holloman AFB servicemembers from six weeks to five years of age. James has been off-roading for more than 30 years and uses off-roading as a positive outlet to release stress incurred from work and other daily activities. 49th CES named best CE Squadron in the Air Force

Holloman plays host to the 309th FS
Two F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 309th Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., taxi to a hangar at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Dec. 7. The 309 FS deployed 18 F-16s and 190 supporting personnel to Holloman AFB to test infrastructure, range, and airspace capabilities to support the F-16 formal training unit, which will be moving to Holloman AFB.
