Retired chief sinks hole-in-one at Apache Mesa
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Jim Morse made a hole-in-one Aug. 13 on the 170 yard, par 3, 15th hole using a 4-iron at Apache Mesa Golf Course here. He was golfing with a friend to get in a few practice rounds before the base tournament the following weekend.
