Team Holloman is "ALL IN"
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airmen 1st Class Micha Dippel and Roman Manuel, both from the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, sort through F-22 Raptor parts on the flight line Jan. 26, 2011. 49th MDG trains with weekend exercise
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Senior Airman J Otto, 49th Medical Operations Squadron, receives medical attention in the Medical Clinic during an exercise Jan. 22, 2011. This lobby in the clinic was used for triaging patients to determine the degree of care they needed. The degree of care would be the determining factor of what facility they would be transferred to. The primary objectives evaluated during this exercise were the 49th Mental Health Flight's capability to deal with sudden violence and how follow-on actions were handled between the 49th Security Forces Squadron and 49th Medical Group. Maintainer to Entertainer: Holloman Airman selected for Tops in Blue
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Holloman's own Staff Sgt. Heather Slade was recently selected to be a vocalist for the 2011 Tops in Blue tour. Sergeant Slade is a former weapons specialist with the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and she recently cross trained into airfield management. The Portage, Ind., native is now with the 49th Operations Support Squadron, but soon she will be an entertainer on a one-year Tops in Blue tour -- a dream she's had since first seeing the show in 2004. Tax Center to open Jan. 31
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Volunteers from the Holloman community will be assisting Airmen and their families in filing taxes this year. The Holloman Tax Center is open to all active duty military members, dependents and retirees. Not your typical attic
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Uniform and uniform accessories are just a couple things that can be found in the Active Duty section of the Airman's Attic, which is open only to active-duty members. Every Tuesday and Thursday, the Airman's Attic is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to military members E-6 and below as well as their dependants. The shipment is the first two T-38s of 15 to be shipped to Holloman and then inspected and regenerated before being flown to Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. M1 Support Services at Holloman maintain the T-38 Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance program here and is the main depot in Air Combat Command for repairing the T-38.
