Bronze Star recipient embodies “mission first, people always”
Colonel David Krumm, 49th Wing commander, pins the Bronze Star Medal on Lt. Col. Thomas McCurley, Detachment 2, Air Combat Command Training Support Squadron commander, at the Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Heritage Park June 15. According to his award citation, McCurley was awarded the Bronze Star for providing superb leadership as the 60th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron’s first commander, enabling critical intelligence collection, and precise on-call strike capabilities in support of special operations forces ground commanders. Croft becomes 49th Wing commander
Lieutenant Gen. Robin Rand, 12th Air Force commander, pins the Legion of Merit Medal to Col.
