49th MXS takes trophy in Flag Football Championship
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Willie Green, of the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, tip-toes down the sideline during the Flag Football Championship game Dec. 19. The 49th AMXS went 3 - 2 in the double elimination tournament to make it to the championship, but fell by 7 points in the final game against the 49th Maintenance Squadron. HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- John Swint, 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, looks for a hole before taking off downfield during the Flag Football Championship game Dec. 19. The 49th AMXS scored a touchdown in the second half, tying the game, but leaving the 49th Maintenance Squadron enough time to come back. The 49th MXS scored with less than a minute remaining.
