Senior Airman David Joos, 49th Wing public affairs broadcaster, interviews retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Dan Cherry during PhanCon at Detachment 1, 82nd Aerial Target Squadron, at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Oct. 16. Cherry piloted an F-4 Phantom over Vietnam from 1971 to 1972 and is credited with a kill of a North Vietnamese MIG-21. He is now a member of the F-4 Phantom II Society which is dedicated to preserving the history of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter.
