Ammo - Hellfire Missiles

Staff Sgt. Scott Landry and Staff Sgt. Nathaniel Phillips, 49th Maintenance Squadron precision guided munitions inspectors, prepare multiple AGM-114P Hellfire missiles for shipment at the 49th MXS Munitions Flight on Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Aug. 22. The missiles are being sent back to their original owner’s location. The cradle ensures the utmost safety during travel. Hellfire missiles were used during a joint training exercise that occurred between the sixth and ninth of Aug., that involved the U.S. Army, Cannon AFB, N.M. and Holloman AFB. The AGM-114P Hellfire missile system is a rocket-propelled, laser-guided weapon designed to defeat individual hard point targets.
