Major Gen. John Cooper presents the Maj. Gen. Warren R. Carter Logistics Effectiveness Award to Airman 1st Class Paige Watts during Cooper’s visit to Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., July 16. Watts was chosen to accept the award on behalf of the entire 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron, who won the award in 2011, naming them the best logistics readiness squadron in the U.S. Air Force. Cooper is the director of logistics, deputy chief of staff for logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., and Watts is a fuels distribution operator with the 49th LRS.
