SAN MARCOS, Texas –- U.S. Army Sgt. Stephen Evans, a combat medic who is now a Wounded Warrior, ties down his boat after a day of kayaking here Feb. 18. Evans began rehabilitation from his injury sustained in Iraq at the Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, three years ago. An important part of his rehabilitation has been his ability to kayak and participate in the activities he enjoys on a regular basis.
