MLK Unity Walk and Luncheon

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Tech. Sgt. Derrick Lee, 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron, reads a poem entitled “I Too Sing America,” Jan. 18, 2012, during the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Remembrance Day luncheon. Holloman personnel came to the luncheon to celebrate and reflect on Dr. King’s life and his contributions to the nation. There was poetry reading, singing and a slideshow depicting photos while the famous “I Have a Dream Speech,” played. During Huyck’s closing remarks at the luncheon he said “Dr. King is a man we have all benefitted from and should all remember for what he has done for this nation.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman DeAndre Curtiss / Released)
