CATM introduces close-range combat

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airmen prepare to fire Nov. 8, 2011, during close-range combat training at the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) range. In addition to basic rifle marksmanship training, close-range combat training requires Airmen to shoot targets at 7, 15 and 25 meters with a combination of multiple target drills, threat discrimination and burst fire.
