HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Holloman's own Staff Sgt. Heather Slade was recently selected to be a vocalist for the 2011 Tops in Blue tour. Sergeant Slade is a former weapons specialist with the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and she recently cross trained into airfield management. The Portage, Ind., native is now with the 49th Operations Support Squadron, but soon she will be an entertainer on a one-year Tops in Blue tour -- a dream she's had since first seeing the show in 2004.
