HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Geoffrey Schellhase, 49th Maintenance Squadron, has his blood pressure taken during the Armed Services Blood Drive screening at the Community Activity Center Dec. 6, 2010. With increased military operations and humanitarian relief efforts being supported by servicemembers, there is an increased need for blood for all U.S. military personnel. The blood drive was sponsored by the Blood Donor Center at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Members from the WBAMC travel to military installations throughout the southwest region of the U.S. to collect blood donations from military members, their families and civilans with access to the different installations.
