HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Eric Murillo, a firefighter with the 49th Civil Engineer Squadron, operates a water pump on a 2010 Rescue Pumper during a monthly structural fire exercise Dec. 1, 2010. Mr. Murillo also maintained personnel accountability with his fire crash radio as part of the exercise. Throughout the year firefighters are required to perform egress training on the F-22 Raptor, GR1 Tornado and the T-38 aircraft as well. Firefighters use this training to prepare for the Operational Readiness Inspection by improving their response procedures for suspicious packages and emergency response to Weapons of Mass Destruction and other terrorist threats.
