HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Col. Sid "Scroll" Mayeux, Headquarters Air Combat Command director of safety and former Fightin' 49er, gives a thumbs-up while Jim Schreiner taxis down the runway in a QF-4 Nov. 4, 2010. Colonel Mayeux flew in and observed a live flight mission during his comprehensive Program Management Evaluation (PME) of the 49th Wing safety program. Part of the inspection process included first-hand observations of wing and tenant ground, weapons and aviation safety activities.
