Keeping an eye on traffic

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Darin Jim, an equipment operator from Bixby Electric Company, installs new traffic cameras at the intersection of First Street and New Mexico Avenue, Oct. 20, 2010. The new traffic cameras on both intersections of New Mexico Avenue and Arizona Avenue on First Street will detect when vehicles are present during high traffic hours. Members of the 49th Civil Engineer Squadron also installed school zone flashers on both of the roads facing First Street to ensure both directions of traffic are aware of when school zone speed limits are in effect.
