Sled park preserves high-speed history

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Sleds that were once used in ejection seat tests on the Holloman High Speed Test Track sit in the 846th Test Squadron "bone yard," July 16, 2010. One or more of these sleds will be refurbished and displayed at the Sled Park, as part of the complete 13-sled exhibit. The idea behind the building of the sled park was to preserve the history of the 846th TS and to allow Team Holloman members to check out that history in a safe way.
