HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Vanessa Welch, a military spouse and participant of the Big Give Project, fills out paperwork before donating 10 inches of hair to the Locks of Love organization at the salon inside the Base Exchange Aug. 4, 2010. Ms. Welch, a member of the Big Give team, HUG, volunteered to donate her hair in support of another team, POL, whose project is to solicit as many donations as possible for Locks of Love -- a non-profit organization that provides hair pieces to children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. The POL team is made up of members from the 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Flight.
