ALAMOGORDO, N.M. -- Carel Hardin and Vanessa Welch, both military spouses from Holloman Air Force Base, serve food to members of the local community at the St. John's Soup Kitchen as part of a Big Give project July 27, 2010. Ms. Hardin and Ms. Welch are both members of the Big Give team, HUG, whose project during the Big Give is to help out the community through small projects, and ultimately, to raise enough money to buy a new roof for the St. John's Episcopal Church.
