HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Senior Airman Terri Cowan, 44th Fighter Group, and Senior Airman Lindy Gordineer, 301st Civil Engineering Squadron, use dunnage March 18, 2010, to brace an Internal Airlift/Helicopter Sling able-Container Unit 90 to be towed to an alternate location on the Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources base compound. The 49th MMG is currently in the process of doing a routine 100 percent accountability check to ensure they can provide support to combatant commanders. The present mobility concept is to rapidly deploy a force, complete with shelters and support facilities, capable of independently supporting and launching sustained combat operations with the same independence as fixed theater installations.
