HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- An F-111 sled that was once used for ejection seat testing on the Holloman High Speed Test Track sits in the 846th Test Squadron
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- A sled that was once used in tests on the Holloman High Speed Test Track is displayed at the 846th Test Squadron Sled Park July 16, 2010. Currently, the park showcases six sleds, but is slated to have 13 sleds total by 2011, along with a piece of test track and a sample of track from the magnetic levitation capability project. Mr. Elizaldez and other corrosion control specialists are responsible for repainting the sleds used in the park to bring them back to their original state. The 49th Civil Engineer Squadron's Engineering Flight, Environmental Flight and Fire Protection Flight also assisted in making the Sled Park a reality.
