Holloman prepares to support Operation United Response

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airmen from the 49th Materiel Maintenance Group here prepare a 1500 reverse osmosis water purification unit, or ROWPU, Jan. 17 to deploy to Haiti in support of Operation Unified Response. The base is preparing tents, generators, air conditioning units, ROWPUs and personnel to send to the country after it was rocked by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake Jan. 12 leaving thousands dead and even more homeless.
