Senior Airman Tayna Flores, 49th Material Maintenance Squadron equipment management journeyman, performed at the Alamogordo Idol at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts in Alamogordo N.M., Oct. 17. Flores competed in a 5-week competition, against 25 other contestants, winning the competition and a cash prize of $1,000. Flores grew up in a musically-inclined family and has been singing her whole life, getting most of her inspiration from her mother. She has performed at numerous Holloman AFB ceremonies.
