A member of the 49th Security Forces Squadron maintains control of a subdued hostile during an active shooter exercise at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Oct. 9. Holloman maintains readiness to respond to emergencies such as active shooters by conducting training exercises multiple times a year. Members from the 49th Security Forces Squadron, 49th Civil Engineer Squadron and the 49th Medical Group were able to quickly respond to the exercise scenario, neutralize the threats and evacuate the victims.
