you drink, you drive, you lose

On May 21, 2015, a sign posted outside the Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., main gate states how long it has been since the last drunk driving incident, and how many lives were saved through responsible decisions. With the weather warming up and summer vacations kicking off, it is important for military members to remember safety and the wingman concept. Saving a life is as easy as taking keys at the door of a party and having designated drivers on standby. Holloman also has a program called 572-RIDE. Each weekend, Airmen from all around Holloman volunteer their time and gas to give rides to those who have been drinking, and do not have a ride home. To reach 572-RIDE you can call 575-572-7433 or 575-572-1110 ext. 5. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Senior Airman Chase Cannon/ Released)
